Service Description

Grief doesn't stay at home when we come to work. Whether it's the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, collective grief, or quiet personal sorrow, it often finds its way into the workplace — sometimes unspoken, sometimes overwhelming. This workshop is designed to support workplaces in becoming more grief-aware, offering practical tools and compassionate frameworks for navigating grief with care, while maintaining professional integrity. In this session, we explore: - What it means to hold space for grief in a professional environment - How to respond when a colleague is grieving — without trying to fix or manage their pain - Practices for deep, attentive listening that honour both empathy and boundaries - Recognising the different forms grief can take, including hidden or disenfranchised grief - How to support a culture of care without overextending or burning out This offering is suitable for managers, HR professionals, team leaders, and anyone interested in creating a workplace culture that is both human and sustainable. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to meet grief when it arises — with presence, professionalism, and genuine compassion.
